Cold Brew Sweet Cream Recipe
A smooth, refreshing cold brew topped with a silky homemade sweet cream — summer in a glass.
How to Make Cold Brew
New to cold brew? Start with our Medium Roast blend — its balanced, smooth character is ideal for a first brew.
- 1 Use a 1:7 ratio — one pound of coarsely ground coffee to 34 oz of cold water. Cold brew absorbs a lot of liquid, so higher volumes are essential. Combine in a jug or mason jar.
- 2 Let it steep at room temperature for at least 16 hours. Patience is the secret ingredient.
- 3 Strain through a V60 or Chemex filter for a clean, sediment-free finish.
- 4 Refrigerate immediately. Enjoy within two weeks — oxidation dulls the flavor over time.
☕ Brew Tip
Don't be afraid to experiment. Some people prefer a stronger 1:5 ratio steeped for just 8 hours. Grind size, steep time, and ratio all interact — small adjustments lead to big flavor differences. Try a few batches and dial in your perfect cold brew.
"Cold brew isn't just a method — it's a mindset. Slow, deliberate, and worth the wait."
