Work from Home Tips & Tricks

Koffee Kult's WFH Tips

We are in unprecedented times and for many of you, working from home is now the new norm. Working from home may be new to many, so we are sharing our best work from home practices. As always, Koffee Kult is here for you. Today. Tomorrow. Always.

1) Dress to Impress

Pretend you are going into the office. Maintaining your routine and schedule is our biggest tip for working from home. Wake up and change out of sweats. Look good? Feel good.

2) Coffee = BFF

Your coworkers are now working from home, so you need a new watercooler buddy to keep you company. Coffee is your new best friend. Brew a cup and have it waiting for you when you begin your workday.

3) Namaslay your Space

Create a zen workplace setup. Find natural light and if possible, bring greenery indoors if you are unable to get outside. Trying to find a semblance of normalcy and routine is key to working from home.

4) Plan Breaks

TAKE PLANNED BREAKS. Just because you are working from home doesn't mean you need to eat lunch at your desk. Take your lunch break and your typical 15 minute 'clear your head' break. Mental health is important and taking care of yourself should be a priority.

5) Work Harder

Do. More. Working from home doesn't mean it's time to slack. If anything, this is your chance to prove yourself in the workplace.

6) Socialize

Coffee may be your new BFF, but that doesn't mean you need to forget about your work best friend. Call or Facetime your work friends and take a planned break just like you would in the office. Working from home doesn't mean you should isolate yourself socially. That's what technology is here for - to keep you connected throughout the day.

7) Work Harder

Do. More. Working from home doesn't mean it's time to slack. If anything, this is your chance to prove yourself in the workplace.

8) Stop Working After Work

Leave work literally at home. Once you're done for the day, take time for yourself. Read a book, watch a movie, take up a new hobby, relax. The day is done and together we will get through tomorrow.
