Koffee Kult SCA Expo Synesso

The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) held its annual expo in Seattle this year during April 19-22, 2018, where over 13,000 coffee peeps convened inside the Washington State Convention Center. There were plenty of workshops, lectures, coffee skills programs, and Koffee Kult! Yes, we were there recruiting members to our kult of great coffee made from premium coffee beans.

We didn’t have a booth, but made better use of our time brewing coffee at these booths (and partners) Synesso, Inc., Loring Smart Roast, and Mahlkonig USA.

Additionally, filed under all things coffee, the expo named these the best new products in its competition, in the interactive exhibits we found a design lab, scientific poster session, roaster village, a market, and—one of our favorites—‘Uppers and Downers’, which was a session exploring the parallels between craft coffee and craft beer.

Next year's expo is in Boston in April 2019. Who's going?
